On your first visit the site shows a cookie notice with two choices: “Accept all” or “Necessary only”. No non-essential cookie is set before you have made that choice.

What cookies do we use?

Necessary cookies — enable core functionality (language setting, navigation). Without them the site does not work correctly.

Third-party cookies — the Google Map in the footer, Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. All of them load solely if you chose “Accept all”. They tell Google and Meta which pages you viewed and whether you continued to the external booking system, so we can tell whether our ads are working. The same measurement continues on the external booking page.

What happens if you decline?

The site works in full. Two things differ: instead of the Google Map you will see a link to directions in the footer, and neither the Meta pixel nor Google Analytics is loaded at all — nothing about your visit is sent to Facebook or Google. Browsing the cottages, prices, booking and every other page is unchanged.
